Hi! I’m Jillian Yue and it is a pleasure for me to be able to share my online portfolio with you. I shall start off with a brief summary about myself. I graduated from Murdoch University, Perth, Western Australia. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Media) , Majoring in Screen and Sound.
I’ve been very passionate about the media industry ever since I graduated from Paya Lebar Methodist Girls’ Secondary School. I entered Nanyang Polytechnic to do my diploma in Media Studies and Management. From there, I made a decision to go abroad to further educate myself on the media industry in Murdoch University.
I felt a strong urge to do something that local/ private universities in Singapore didn’t offer, thus the option of doing Screen and Sound. Screen and Sound is a degree which focuses on the practical elements of film and TV production which includes producing, editing and writing.
I have been actively engaging in the media industry, working for ESPN Starsports as well as several freelance projects. With great passion in the field of production work, it would be great if I was given a chance to kickstart my career to attain my goal as a successful creative individual in the future.
Being active in the media industry has exposed me to many aspects of the media industry which made my interest in advertising and marketing grow immensely. Given any opportunity in the creative sector would definitely give me a chance to change the media industry in Singapore.
